Interesting concept. I’ve been trying to figure out a way to get more light into the southern side of a Katrina Cottage 936 (potentially a modern farmhouses on a budget). A cantilevered stairwell with a large reclaimed commercial window might do the trick. This photo helps to visualize such a feat.
