Farmhouse Modern

This bathroom was designed by Stuart Cohen & Julie Hacker Architects, winners of the 2007 Hall of Fame Leadership Award from Residential Architect Magazine.

There are two things that I love most about this bathroom. First is the light. Some people are not comfortable with large windows in a bathroom, but they always make the space feel better. The second is the use of stained glass.

This treatment is a little historical for my taste, but it works here. I will look for examples of more forward-looking stained glass for a future post.
