
The iconic Emeco aluminum chair was built by Emeco and Alcoa Aluminum for military use.
More recently, the company engaged with famous designers to re-invent the classic aluminum chair.
This version was designed by Philippe Starck This modified version is scaled for children with a 13.5″ seat height. For sale at Retromodern for $395.00

Thanks for the mention. This was not designed by Starck. It is a modification of the original 1006 Navy (r) chair designed for submarines in 1944. The back is a little shorter than the original (made for smaller sub’s) and the legs are cut to childs’ height.
