After an aborted attempt to pick “him” up in March, it looks like Mater is almost done. You can read more details here, but in short, I flew to Fargo, waited while Tim did the final repairs, and drove off toward Montana. About 2 miles later the clutch started slipping…
As it turns out the clutch was installed backward. And (apparently) that is not good.
The good news is that clutches are not hard to find or expensive. So with luck, I will be back out in Audubon Mn. Soon.
