The new Solage resort in Calistoga, north of Napa in the California Wine Country was described in 7×7 magazine as “barn-house meets loft.” A quick look reveals a combination of barn and farmhouse buildings with decidedly modern detailing.
The reviews on Trip Advisor are mixed and consistent with other new high-end resorts in the Wine Country where the room prices set expectations beyond what a new resort with immature landscaping can deliver.
It looks interesting enough to check out and if I do, I will gather new photographs. The images on the website, www.solagecalistoga.com are mostly of the scenery.
