Urban Archeology is an old Soho, NY architectural salvage store. It is the kind of store that you might stumble upon one morning walking around Soho with a cup of coffee. After dreaming about things like how you might use a 12′ tall stained glass window in a project you leave not noticing that (pleasant) hours have passed.
I first found the store with my brother when we were still in high-school. We visited regularly for years but after moving to California forgot about them until a few months ago.
After building a business buying, restoring and selling architectural treasures, including old brass doors, stained glass, church pews… Urban Archeology began applying their expertise to creating new products.
In addition to new, ‘classic-looking’ light fixtures, they sell hardware tile and more.
